Michael Enderle, Officiating Visitation Noon to service time on Tuesday at Geise Funeral Home Interment Hillcrest Cemetery Estelline, South Dakota Alberta "Becky" Marie Kiihl was born August 3, 1921 to John and Mary (Saathoff) Kiihl at Dempster, South Dakota. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Johns Lutheran Church in Dempster. She attended school at Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin and Dempster before she contracted polio at age 13 and moved to Estelline, South Dakota with her parents in 1935. Becky worked at Ward Store for many years before entering the Estelline Nursing and Care Center in 2008. She made the Lord's Prayer hangings that are displayed in several churches. She died on Friday, April 22, 2011 at the Estelline Nursing and Care Center at the age of 89 years, 8 months and 19 days. Becky was a member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church and enjoyed sewing and crocheting. She is survived by her sister, Mae Begalka, of Brookings SD; a niece Linda (Dale) Bentz of Pierre, SD; and several cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents, a nephew Eugene and his wife Karen.
