Ann F. Homola, 84, passed away on Monday, April 29, 2024, at the Avera DeSmet Memorial Hospital in DeSmet, SD. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church in Lake Norden, SD. Visitation will be held prior from 9:30 am to 11:00 am on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church in Lake Norden.

Ann Felicia Homola was born February 13, 1940, in Jamestown, ND, the daughter of Edwin and Hilda (Rankinen) Wilen. She grew up on the farm South of Gackle, ND. Ann attended and graduated from Gackle High School and then attended 1 year at Valley City teacher's College in Valley City, ND. Ann was a member of the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church. She cherished her family and Christian friends, and enjoyed the time she shared with them.

Ann was united in marriage to Theodore Homola on December 24, 1960. In 2005, Ted and Ann made their retirement home in Hazel, SD. The couple was blessed with four children, Teresa, Sheldon, Kim and Brian. Theodore passed away November 27, 2018.

Ann is survived by her four children, Teresa (Larry) Schwartz, of Owatonna, MN, Sheldon (René) Homola, of Willow Lake, SD, Kim (Donald) Barnett, of Waseca, MN and Brian Homola, of Watertown, SD; 16 grandchildren; 43 great grandchildren; one brother, Dale (Claudia) Wilen of Cheyenne, WY; 1 niece and 2 nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sister Shirley (Orlo) Sund and daughter-in-law Lori.
