Bernadine Bunny Tesch Estelline, South Dakota Mass Of Christian Burial 10:30 A.M., Saturday, October 14, 2006 St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church Estelline, South Dakota Scripture Service 7:00 P.M., Friday, October 13, 2006 St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church Visitation 4PM to 7PM Friday at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church Bernadine Bunny (Perry) Tesch, daughter of Bernhard and Anna (Donahue) Perry, was born September 10, 1939 in Watertown, South Dakota. She grew up in the Watertown area and graduated from Watertown High School in1957. She was employed at Codington Clark Electric prior to her marriage to Kenneth Tesch on September 19, 1960 in Watertown. After their marriage they farmed near Estelline and she was employed at Estelline Community Oil, Estelline Nursing Home and Care Center, County Fair in Watertown, worked the lunch counter for Aesoph Auctioneering and held many merchandising jobs. Bunny died on Wednesday, October 11, 2006 at the Hendricks Hospital in Hendricks, Minnesota at the age of 67 years, 1 month and 1 day. She was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church where she was active in Altar Society and served as a Eucharistic Minister. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and Extension Clubs in the community. Bunny enjoyed cooking, loved gardening and caring for flowers and spending time with her family and friends. She was a strong supporter of St. Judes Childrens Hospital and many meaningful charities. Grateful for having shared her life are her husband Kenneth of Estelline; their children, James Tesch of Watertown, Kathy Tesch of Estelline, Roger Tesch and his special friend Shannon, Joe Tesch and his special friend Tracy and his children Nick and Charlie, all of Watertown, Russell Tesch and his wife Cheryl and their daughter Kennedy of Estelline; three sisters, Eleanor Mack and her husband Carl of Castlewood, SD, Margaret Kranz and her husband Bud of Stillwater, MN, Patricia Lindner and her husband Clifford of Hayti, SD; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Rosemary Holzemer and MaryAnn Flemming. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be directed to St. Judes Childrens Hospital or the Spinal Cord Society.
