Beulah Wellhouse Castlewood, South Dakota Funeral Service 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, August 19, 2003 First Presbyterian Church Castlewood, South Dakota Interment Bemis Holland Presbyterian Cemetery Rural Clear Lake, South Dakota Visitation 5PM to 8PM Monday at Geise Funeral Chapel in Castlewood Beulah (Rindels) Wellhouse, daughter of Jacob and Anna (TeBeest) Rindels, was born May 7, 1906 in Deuel County, South Dakota. She spent her early years and received her education in rural school in Deuel County. After her marriage to Harvey Wellhouse on June 25, 1924 in Castlewood, they farmed in Deuel County for 25 years until moving to a farm near Castlewood in 1949. They farmed and owned the Castlewood Dairy in the 1940's and 1950's. They retired in 1974. Harvey died on January 5, 1976 and Beulah continued to live in Castlewood until moving to assisted living in Watertown in 1991. She entered the Jenkins Living Center in September 15, 1999. She died there on Friday, August 15, 2003 at the age of 97 years, 3 months and 8 days. She was a member of Bemis Holland Presbyterian Church and First Presbyterian Church in Castlewood. She enjoyed embroidery work and playing cards. Grateful for having shared her life are her daughter, Marcella Hanson and her husband Keith of Clear Lake , SD; her son Kenneth Wellhouse and his wife Shirley of Indiahoma, OK; four grandchildren; several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; one sister, Hazel Bleeker and her husband William of Baldwin, WI; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, one infant son, a granddaughter Shirley, and two brothers, James and Henry.
