Blanche Marie Larson Estelline, South Dakota Blanche M. Larson was born on January 23, 1907 in Winterset, Iowa the daughter of William and Nellie (Young) Riley. She died on Saturday, December 13, 2003 at the Estelline Nursing and Care Center at the age of 96 years. Blanche received her education in the Estelline Schools. She was united in marriage to Theodore Larson on October 26, 1927 in Sioux Falls, SD. After their marriage she was employed at the United States Post Office in Estelline for 45 years, also at the Estelline School in the cafeteria for 23 years and the Estelline Hospital for seven years until her retirement in 1976. Theodore died on November 5, 1987 in Estelline. She was a member of the United Church Of Christ and the Senior Citizens. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and her friends. Blanche is survived by one son Calvin Kelly Larson of Estelline; three grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
