Carl James (Jimmy) Davis,83, passed away on Monday, December 25, 2023 at his home residence with his wife by his side. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, December 30, 2023 at the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church in Lake Norden, SD. Visitation will be held the night prior from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm on  Friday, December 29, 2023 at the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church in Lake Norden.

Carl James (Jimmy) Davis was born February 9th 1940 in Somerset, PA. He passed away on Christmas Day 2023 at 83 years of age.

He was raised by his parents, Ida Esther (Hansen) and Charles Davis, in Union, Illinois. When he was 17 he moved to the east coast and entered the work force as a mechanic and welder.

In 1959 he met and married Anne Louise Blomquist. Together they raised three children. After his wife passed away in 2009 he continued alone until he met and married Becki Beatty in 2010.

He was a lifelong member of the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church. Through all his many physical difficulties and confined to a wheelchair he was always welcoming to his many friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Anne, his son Kevin, his sister Ruth, and his brother Chuck.

He is survived by his wife Becki, his children Vicky (Tim) Foley, his son Charlie (Dawn LeBrandt), his brother Dave (Debbie LeBrandt), and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
