Cooper Curry, 19, of Bryant, passed away Sunday, December 25, 2022 at his home in rural Bryant. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, December 30, 2022, at the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church in rural Lake Norden. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church, beginning at 10:00 am. Geise Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Cooper John Curry was born on October 5, 2003 to Zane and Tamara (Scheidt) Curry. He spent most of his life in Lake Preston, SD. He attended school in Lake Preston and received his certificate of completion in May of 2022.

Cooper couldn't walk, talk or even sit up, but he could love. He loved bath time and mornings. He shared many smiles and laughs with those he loved. Countless nurses and doctors, with God's guidance, helped Cooper remain with us long enough to fulfill God's work. Particular caregivers that knew Cooper's love first hand include: Dr. Julie Johnson, Dr. Jenifer Reitsma, Dr. Theresa Stamato, Dr. James Wallace, Rosemary Murphy, Donna Phelps and Wanda Poppe.

Cooper was 19 years old when he passed away on December 25, 2022 at his home near Bryant, SD. He received the greatest Christmas gift.

Grateful for having shared his life are his father, Zane and Brenda Curry of Bryant, SD; sisters, Lexis Curry of Lake Preston, and Angelia Washburn of Sioux Falls, SD; grandparents, LaVern and Geraldine Scheidt of Lake Preston, LaDonna Hesby of Hetland, SD and Leon and Arline Johnson of Bryant and a host of other friends and relatives.

Cooper was preceded in death by his loving mother, Tammy and grandfather, Randy Curry.
