Joyce Anderson, Officiating Interment Hillcrest Cemetery Estelline, South Dakota Visitation 4PM to 8PM Sunday at Geise Funeral Home in Estelline Curtis Eugene Foster, son of George and Della (Devitt) Foster, was born September 28, 1952 in Brookings, South Dakota. He spent his early years in Deuel County, South Dakota until moving with his family to a farm near Bruce, South Dakota in 1959. He attended rural grade school and graduated from Estelline High School in 1972. Curt began farming with his father and continued to farm until ill health forced his retirement in 1997. He died on Thursday, July 29, 2004 at Avera-McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls at the age of 51 years, 10 months and 1 day. He was a member of the United Church Of Christ in Estelline. He was active in 4-H as a youth and was a member of the J.C.s as a young man. He enjoyed farming. Grateful for having shared his life are his special friend, Sharon Johnson of Bruce; four brothers, Stanley Foster and his wife Jean of Cary, IL, Paul Foster and his wife Joanne, Ronald Foster and his wife Jeanette and Kenneth Foster and his wife Judy all of Estelline; one aunt, Cecelia Berryman of Phoenix, AZ; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends. Curt was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Loren and Darrell.
