Dale J. Linneman, 65, of Estelline, SD, passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2020, at his home in Estelline. Due to health concerns, a private family Mass of Christian Burial will be held. A time of public viewing will be from 11:0 am to 12:00 pm on Tuesday, May 19, 2020, at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Estelline. Geise Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Dale Joseph Linneman was born on April 28, 1955, in Clear Lake, SD, the son of Joseph and Eileen (Kaiser) Linneman. Dale grew up and attended school in Estelline. He worked road construction around the country for a number of years. He returned to Estelline, and went to work for the Fugere family, farming for over 30 years.
Dale enjoyed hunting and fishing, and followed NASCAR and the Minnesota Vikings. He loved animals, especially his cat, 'Kitty'.
Dale is survived by his two sisters, Deborah (Roger) Cramer, of Sergeant Bluff, IA and Lisa (Loni) Moen, of Watertown; neices and nephews, Renae Hild, of Omaha, NE, Mitzi Bever, of Sioux Falls, SD, Michael Cramer, of Sioux City, IA, Kris Linneman, of Yankton, SD, Brandon Linneman, of Brookings, SD, Cassie Harding, of Willow Lake, SD and Spencer Moen, of West Fargo, ND; his great nieces, great nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Timothy Linneman and his sister, Margaret, in infancy.
