David Robert Clark, son of Larry and Hope (Andrews) Clark, was born July 12, 1977 in Watertown, South Dakota. He attended elementary school in Lake Norden and Jr. High in Bryant before graduating from Hamlin High School in 1995. He continued his education at Lake Area Technical Institute in Watertown, graduating in 1997 with an associate arts degree in automotive technology. Following his education he held various jobs and farmed with his father until Larry's death in 2011, at which time David took over the farming operation. He was also currently employed at Rising Star Hydraulics in Watertown. He was united in marriage to Kaylene Baker on April 30, 2010 in Hayti, South Dakota. David died unexpectedly on Thursday, February 7, 2013 at his residence near Lake Norden at the age of 35 years. He enjoyed farming, attending car shows and doing activities with his children. Grateful for having shared his life are his wife Kaylene of Lake Norden; three young children, Jasmine, Lane and Dalton, all at home; his mother Hope Clark of Hayti; his sister Linda Clark of Hayti and her special friend Scott Currence of Sisseton; and a host of other relatives and friends. David was preceded in death by his father Larry on October 8, 2011 and his grandparents. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lake Norden. Visitation will be from noon until service time on Wednesday at the church.
