Deloris J. Anderson, 80, of Watertown, formerly of Lake Poinsett, passed away Monday, October 24, 2022, at Avantara-Watertown. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, October 28, 2022, at Geise Funeral Home in Estelline.

Deloris J. Little Eagle was born on July 9, 1942, in Pine Ridge, SD, the daughter of Samuel and Louise (Clincher) Little Eagle. Growing up the family lived in Pine Ridge, Eagle Butte and Oklahoma. Deloris was married and had four children, Ken, Lisa, Teresa and Irvin Jr. She worked many janitorial jobs and later worked as a care giver at an assisted living. She was united in marriage to Roger Anderson in 1990. The couple lived in Sioux Falls, and later made their home at Lake Poinsett.

Deloris was a caring mother and grandmother. She had many hobbies including, painting, bead work, pottery, making star quilts, reading and fishing with Roger at the Lake. She also had an extensive collection of salt and pepper shakers.

She is survived by her four children, Ken (Sheila) Loeffler of Hollandale, MN, Lisa Fuentes of Watertown, SD, Teresa Blazek of Dodge Center, MN and Irving Loeffler Jr. of Sioux Falls, SD; 9 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; sister, Elizabeth Owl King of Dupree, SD and many nieces and nephews.

Delores was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roger; brother, John Little Eagle; sister, Eldean Willis; son-in-law, Erasmo Fuentes and two nephews, Stanley Little Eagle and Ben Nelson.
