Terry Drew, Officiating Interment Castlewood Cemetery Castlewood, South Dakota Visitation 5PM to 8PM Thursday at Geise Funeral Chapel in Castlewood Dona Maye (Meisel) Boswell, daughter of Arnold F. and Violet C. (Simonson) Meisel, was born October 15, 1924 at Hayti, South Dakota. She spent her early years and received her education in Hamlin County. She was united in marriage to Harry Boswell on March 30, 1946 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. They farmed in Hamlin County near Castlewood until 1981. She lived at Lake Poinsett until entering the Estelline Nursing and Care Center in November of 2004. She died on Saturday, April 16, 2005 at Prairie Lakes Hospital in Watertown at the age of 80 years, 6 months and 1 day. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Castlewood and the American Legion Auxiliary. Dona was proud of her apple trees and gave many apples to friends and neighbors. She also enjoyed bird watching. Grateful for having shared her life are one son Stanley Boswell and his wife Kim of Castlewood; two daughters, Karon Boswell of Augusta, GA, and Sandra Schultz and her husband Herman of Sergeant Bluffs IA; three grandchildren; one great grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Harry in 1989, , one son Harry Joe in 1982 and her parents.
