Donald Jorvig, 85, of Estelline, passed away Sunday, October 30, 2022, at Good Samaritan Society in DeSmet. Funeral services will be at 10:30 am Friday, November 4, 2022 at United Church of Christ in Estelline. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church, beginning at 9:30 am. Geise Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Donald Jorvig was born on August 9, 1937 in Estelline, South Dakota, the son of Lawrence and Louise (Goddard) Jorvig. Don grew up in the Estelline area and went to country school in Estelline until 8 ^th Grade. After school, he worked at many jobs including the elevator in Estelline and many local Estelline farmers. Don worked at South Dakota State University as a custodian until he retired in the early 90's.

Don is survived by his sister, Joan Sykora of Buffalo, MN; sister-in-law, Bernice Jorvig of Clear Lake; special friend, Delores Begalka of Estelline and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Louise Jorvig; brother, Lawrence Jorvig; two sisters, Marge Pedersen and infant sister Barbara Jorvig.
