Edward N. Feyerisen Castlewood, SD Edward N. Feyerisen was born on November 11, 1918, in Watertown, South Dakota, the son of Nicholas and Anna (Ecker) Feyerisen. He received his education in the Kranzburg School and then began farming in Codington County. He was united in marriage to Violet Klos on August 22, 1942 in Kranzburg, SD. They continued to farm in Codington Co. until 1946, when they moved to a farm in Hamlin County, where he farmed the rest of his life. He died on Thursday, March 27, 2008, at Jenkins Living Center in Watertown at the age of 89 years, 4 months and 16 days. He was a member of the St. Francis deSales Catholic Church in Estelline. He enjoyed reading and tinkering in his shop. Ed also enjoyed visiting with family and friends and everyone enjoyed his sense of humor. Ed is survived by his children Betty (Elmer) Walkins of Morrison, CO, Marilyn Trottier of Sharon, VT, Dorothy (Robert) Falk of Castlewood, SD, Nicholas Feyerisen of Sioux Falls, SD, Helen Parker of Ruthton, MN, Beverly (Joel) Frohling of Groton, SD, Jeannie (Greg) Morgan of Mellette, SD, Susan (Roger) Lauseng of Watertown, SD, Roy (Sheila) Feyerisen of Castlewood, SD, Patricia (Steve) Rasmussen of Watertown, SD; 25 grand children; 34 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Violet on March 20, 2007; seven grandchildren; one great grandchild; his parents; three brothers and six sisters.
