Obituary

Eileen Rose (Kaiser) Linneman, daughter of Edward and Ann (Mack) Kaiser, was born July 17, 1930 in Clear Lake, South Dakota. She spent her early years and received her education in rural schools in Hamlin and Deuel Counties and graduated from Estelline High School in 1948. Eileen was united in marriage to Joseph H. Linneman on January 12, 1949 in Estelline. After their marriage they farmed in Hamlin County until retiring and moved into Estelline in 1976. She was employed as a dietary cook at the Estelline Nursing and Care Center from 1978 to 2001. Joseph died in 2007 and in 2009 she moved to Sergeant Bluff, Iowa to be near her daughter Deborah and family. Eileen died on Tuesday, December 25, 2012 at Floyd Senior Living Center in Sergeant Bluff at the age of 82 years. She was a member of St. Francis deSales Catholic Church in Estelline where she was active in the Altar Society. She enjoyed reading and sewing. Grateful for having shared her life are two daughters, Deborah Cramer and her husband Roger of Sergeant Bluff, IA, Lisa Moen and her husband Loni of Watertown, SD; two sons, Dale Linneman of Estelline, Timothy Linneman of Sergeant Bluff; seven grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Eileen was preceded in death by her husband Joseph; her parents; one daughter Margaret; two brothers, Edward and Marvin Kaiser; and one sister Audrey Lohr. Her Funeral Mass will be 10:30 AM, Saturday, December 29, 2012 at St. Francis deSales Catholic Church in Estelline. Visitation will be from 5PM to 7PM Friday at the church followed by a Scripture Service at 7PM.
