Elmer L. Junso Lake Norden, South Dakota Funeral Service 1:00 P.M., Thursday, August 28, 2003 Trinity Lutheran Church Lake Norden, South Dakota Rev. Donald Schumacher, Officiating Interment Trinity Lutheran Cemetery Lake Norden, South Dakota Elmer Louis Junso, son of Peter and Hannah (Hanson) Junso, was born March 1, 1912 in Hamlin County, South Dakota. He spent his early years and received his education in Hamlin County and was united in marriage to Esther O. Christiansen on December 24, 1935 in Brookings, South Dakota. After their marriage they lived in Wisconsin for eleven years before moving back to Hamlin County in 1947. They farmed near Lake Norden until their retirement in 1981. Esther died on October 16, 1983 and Elmer continued to make his home at Watertown until entering the Prairie Lakes Care Center in Watertown on November 22, 2000. He died there on Tuesday, August 26, 2003 at the age of 91 years, 5 months and 25 days. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Lake Norden. Grateful for having shared his life are two sons, James Junso and his wife Gerri of Camarillo, CA and Wayne Junso and his wife Kathy of Modesto, CA; six grandchildren, Syndie Spadini and her husband Art, Michelle Guardino and her husband Greg, Laura Gleason and her husband Chris, Jeff Junso and his wife Nancy, Steven Junso and Ricky Junso; five great grandchildren, Jared and Justin Guardino, Allison and Samuel Spadini and Ashley Gleason; one brother, Allen Junso of Yucaipa, CA; one sister, Doris Hall and her husband Stanley of Sunnyvale, CA; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, and 10 brothers and sisters.
