Everett TeKrony Castlewood, South Dakota Funeral Service 10:30 A.M., Monday, October 17, 2005 Hamlin Reformed Church Castlewood, South Dakota Interment Bemis Christian Reformed Cemetery Rural Clear Lake, South Dakota Visitation 5PM to 8PM Sunday at Geise Funeral Chapel in Castlewood Everett TeKrony, son of William and Jeanette (Nagelhout) TeKrony, was born April 2, 1927 on a farm northeast of Castlewood, South Dakota in Hamlin Township. He attended country school in Hamlin County #4. At age 15, his mom, brother Garret and he rented their first farm together near Clear Lake, South Dakota. In February of 1951, he moved to the current TeKrony farm, where he lived the rest of his life. On June 21, 1951, Everett married Cornelia VanBeek in Volga, South Dakota. He died on Thursday, October 13, 2005 at Sioux Valley Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota at the age of 78 years, 6 months and 11 days. Everett loved the Lord and sought to serve Him his entire life. He was an active, thankful member of the Bemis Christian Reformed Church until it closed in May of 2004. While there he faithfully served as Deacon and Elder. He was currently a member of the Hamlin Reformed Church. He also served on the Castlewood Creamery Board and the Hamlin County Co-op Board. He enjoyed farming and his family, and rejoiced that his children and grandchildren also served the Lord. He is survived by his loving and faithful wife, Corky; his children and grandchildren, Bob and Brenda Mast of Wyoming, MI (Sara, Brian, Nick and Rachel Negen, Nadine), Wayne and Gwen TeKrony of Castlewood (Jeff, Todd and Angela Moritz, Amanda, Jared and April Brouwer), Rod and Lois VanDerVliet of Colton, SD (Ryan and Sarah VanDerVliet, Jamie and Lisa Johnson, Ryan and Lori Fods), Lee and Sharon Bleeker of Raymond, MN (Justin and Jamie); four great grandchildren, Rhegan Oberg, Tyson VanDerVliet, Elijah Negen and Weston VanDerVliet; his brother, Garret TeKrony (Henrietta) of Brookings, SD; and his in-laws, Laura (Bob) Mans, Alice (Art) Mulder, and Bob (Ardith) VanBeek, all of Volga, SD and Henny VanBeek of Holland, MI. Everett was preceded in death by his parents.
