Described by his children as a man who could do anything he set out to do and fix anything that was broken, he was a farmer, carpenter, electrician, plumber, home builder, and remodeler, continuing as a toy maker through his 80s. Francis outlived his 6 siblings Ralph, Clifford, Clarence (Sam), Frank, Geneva, and Annie, as well as his wife of 62 years (Charlotte died September 30, 2001). Francis is survived by his children, Dennis (and Patty) Buswell of Zimmerman, MN, and Joy B.
