Interment St. Francis deSales Catholic Cemetery Estelline, South Dakota Joseph Henry Linneman, son of Fred and Margaret (Juenman) Linneman, was born October 31, 1924 in Hamlin County, South Dakota. He spent his early years and received his education in rural school in Hamlin County. Joe served in the United States Army from 1944 to 1946 and was united in marriage to Eileen Kaiser on January 12, 1949 in Estelline. They farmed near Estelline for over 30 years until retiring in 1976. After retirement he worked at Kepp's Lumber and helped area farmers. He entered the Estelline Nursing and Care Center on January 26, 2007 and died there on Sunday, July 15, 2007 at the age of 82 years, 8 months and 14 days. He was a member of St. Francis deSales Catholic Church and the Estelline American Legion. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Grateful for having shared his life are his wife Eileen of Estelline; two daughters, Deborah Cramer and her husband Roger of Sergeant Bluff, IA, Lisa Moen and her husband Loni of Watertown, SD; two sons, Dale Linneman and Timothy Linneman both of Estelline; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Margaret, two brothers, Alphonse and John and one sister Mildred Jeitz.
