Donald Schumacher, Officiating Interment Trinity Lutheran Cemetery Lake Norden, South Dakota Visitation 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Friday, August 3, 2007 Trinity Lutheran Church Lake Norden, South Dakota Joyce Ilo (Anderson) Aho, daughter of Halmer and Jessie (Rund) Anderson, was born October 10, 1925 at Watertown, South Dakota. She grew up and received her education at Hayti and graduated from Hayti High School. She was united in marriage to Einar A. Aho on May 27, 1948 in Milbank, South Dakota. Following their marriage they farmed near Lake Norden until Einars death on March 22, 1987. She remained on the farm until moving into Lake Norden in 1993. Joyce died on Wednesday, August 1, 2007 at Prairie Lakes Hospital in Watertown, South Dakota at the age of 81 years, 9 months and 21 days. She was baptized and confirmed at New Hope Lutheran Church, rural Hayti, South Dakota and was currently a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Lake Norden where she was active in WELCA. For several years she belonged to a card club where she enjoyed playing Canasta and Whist and she also enjoyed bowling. Her biggest love was playing Wheel Of Fortune on the telephone with her sister Ione. Joyce was also an avid Minnesota Twins fan and she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Grateful for having shared her life are three sons, Tom Aho and his wife Joan of Big Stone Lake, SD, Larry Aho and his wife Sandi and Harvey Aho, all of Lake Norden; a son-in-law, Grant Ege of Bloomington, MN; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Joyce was preceded in death by her husband Einar, her daughter Audrey Ege on April 15, 2006, a grandson Timothy Aho and her parents.
