Kenneth Lee Wenzlick, son of Richard and Leola (Carlisle) Wenzlick, was born May 18, 1964 in Watertown, South Dakota. When he was a baby his family moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin. While Richard was in the Air Force the family lived in various communities and Kenneth finished his education at Sullivan, Wisconsin. He worked in the trucking industry as a mechanic and mostly as a truck driver through the years. He was united in marriage to Michelle MacDonald on May 30, 1987 in Ft. Atkinson, Wisconsin and they lived in Palmyra, Wisconsin before he moved back to the Castlewood area a few years ago. Kenneth has owned and operated his own trucking company from 1985 until the present. He died as the result of an auto accident on Monday, March 27, 2006 in Janesville, Wisconsin at the age of 41 years, 10 months and 9 days. Kenneth enjoyed spending time with his children and doing various activities with them such as working with horses, snowmobiling, fishing and hunting. He also rode bulls and was a member of the Professional Rodeo Association. Grateful for having shared his life are his two children, Colleen and Richard, both of Palmyra, WI; his father, Richard Wenzlick of Castlewood; his brother, Len Harvey Wenzlick and his wife Debra and their children, Joshua and Jessica of Iron Ridge, WI; his grandmother, Elsbeth Carlisle of Castlewood; several aunts, uncles, cousins; and a host of other relatives and friends. Kenneth was preceded in death by his mother, Leola on August 14, 2004 and three grandparents.
