Lynnda Rae Smith, daughter of Leland and Rose (Gilbo) Olson, was born March 15, 1957 in Tucson, Arizona. She attended school in Tucson and was united in marriage to James Eisensee. As a young woman she moved with her family to South Dakota and was united in marriage to Kenneth "KT" Smith on March 15, 1996. They moved to Aberdeen in June of 1997. KT died on December 14, 1998 and Lynnda continued to make Aberdeen her home. She died unexpectedly on Sunday, April 14, 2013 while at Leland and Rose's home at the age of 56 years. She was a member of Landmark Gospel Church in Aberdeen. Lynnda enjoyed bingo, listening to music and velvet art. Grateful for having shared her life are her daughter, Lelana Holguin (Freddy) of Aberdeen; her son Joseph Eisensee of Tucson, AZ; four grandchildren, Shayleiyha, Joseph Jr., Brittany Lee and Alita-Lynn; her parents, Leland and Rose Olson of Arlington; three sisters, Vicki Woods (Gaylord) of Brookings, Frankie Erickson (Phil) of Arlington, Patty Dexter (Craig) of Elkton, SD; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband KT. Her funeral service will be 10:30 AM, Friday, April 19, 2013 at the Evangelical Covenant Church in Lake Norden. Visitation will be one hour preceding services at the church.
