Marjorie F. Lee, 88, of Lake Norden, passed away Thursday October, 31, 2019 at Jenkins Living Center, in Watertown, SD. Funeral services will be at 10:30 am Thursday, November 7, 2019, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Bryant, SD. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Wednesday at Geise Funeral Chapel in Lake Norden, SD.

Marjorie F. Lee was born on August 27, 1931, in Rauville Township on a farm near Waverly, SD, the daughter of Herman and Mary (O'Hare) Schultz.

Marjorie graduated from Waverly High School in 1949.  After receiving her education she moved to Watertown, SD and was employed at S.S. Kresger Co. for six years.  She was united to Stanley Lee on June 6, 1955.  After their marriage they farmed and raised cattle east of Lake Norden, SD.  They moved into Lake Norden in 1986 and retired in 1990.  Stanley died on April 3, 2006 in Lake Norden.

She enjoyed playing cards and bowling. She also enjoyed camping with friends and family.   There were many camping outings at Lake Poinsett with her grandkids.  Marge and Stanley traveled to Arizona and had other camping excursions with friends in their retirement years. Marge and Stanley also enjoyed taking bus tours and saw many areas of the country on their travels.   They made many trips to Red Oak, Iowa over the years to attend their grandkid's activities. She was dedicated to her family and friends and was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Marge was a long time member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and willing to volunteer to help whenever she could at church activities.

Marjorie is survived by her children, James Lee of Lake Norden, SD, Linda (Gary) Querry of Red Oak, IA; three grandchildren, Travis (Stacy) Querry, Lisa (Evash) Beresiwski and Brett (Kate) Querry; five great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; six sisters, Gladys, Opal, Beverly, Betty, Esther and Ellen; three brothers, Lester, Walter and Art.
