Hal Barber, Officiating Mark Donald Jasper, son of Donald Paul and Betty Ann (Rahn) Jasper, was born June 26, 1962 at Ft. Sill, Oklahoma while his father was serving in the military. When Mark was a baby they returned to Sioux Falls where he grew up and received his education. When he was 18 years old he moved to Florida where he spent 10 years before moving to Arizona. He returned to South Dakota and lived in Colman and was employed with the Trane Company as a HVAC technician. Mark died on Thursday, September 2, 2004 as the result of an auto accident at the age of 42 years, 2 months and 6 days. He enjoyed carpentry and computers. Grateful for having shared his life are his parents, Donald Paul and Betty Jasper of Lake Poinsett; three sisters, Cindy Shea and her husband Larry of Colman, SD, Carol Goering and her husband Keith of Yorkville, IL and Mary Ward and her husband Doug of Brookings, SD; three nephews, Dylan Goering and Joshua and Nicholas Ward; one niece, Kali Ward; and a host of other relatives and friends. Mark was preceded in death by one brother Rick and his grandparents.
