Marvin H. Moeller Estelline, South Dakota Funeral Service 10:00 A.M., Thursday, October 5, 2006 United Church Of Christ Estelline, South Dakota Pastor Deven Edinger, Officiating Interment Bakke Cemetery Estelline, South Dakota Visitation 5PM to 8PM Wednesday at Geise Funeral Home in Estelline. Marvin H. Moeller, son of Theodore and Elsie (Jibben) Moeller, was born October 16, 1921 near Alvord in Lyon County, Iowa. He grew up and received his education near White and Revillo, South Dakota and was confirmed in the Lutheran Faith at Revillo. He served in the United States Army from October 8, 1942 until September 4, 1943. After his discharge he settled east of Estelline and farmed there. He moved into Estelline in 1975 and continued to farm until his retirement in 1989. He was united in marriage to Minnie Rieck Bakke on November 15, 1981 at the United Church of Christ in Estelline. They continued to make Estelline their home. Marvin died on Sunday, October 1st, 2006 at Prairie Lakes Hospital in Watertown at the age of 84 years, 11 months and 15 days. He was a member of the United Church of Christ in Estelline and the Estelline American Legion. He enjoyed woodworking, playing cards, gardening and watching Minnesota Twins Baseball. Grateful for having shared his life are his wife Minnie of Estelline; two step-sons, Larry Bakke and his wife Evelyn of Estelline and James Bakke and his wife Janice of Watertown; three step-granddaughters, Laura Bakke, Leah Bakke and Janelle Bakke; one step-grandson, Jacob Jibben; one sister, Joyce Gilligan and her husband Warren of Estelline; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.
