Clara Wadsworth, Officiating Visitation 7:00 P.M. to 8:30 P.M., Friday at Geise Funeral Chapel in Lake Norden Interment 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, December 26, 2006 Maple Grove Cemetery Ellsworth, Wisconsin Morley Hauschildt, son of John and Margaret (Gihlstorf) Hauschildt, was born June 25, 1928 in Goodhue County, Minnesota. He grew up and received his education there. As a young man he moved to North Dakota where he worked on a beef and wheat farm. He returned to Minnesota and did farm labor and was married to Inez Welty on September 2, 1950 at the English Lutheran Church in Ellsworth, Wisconsin. Morley served in the U.S Army from December 13, 1950 to November 11, 1952. After his discharge they lived at rural Ellsworth until 1957 when they moved to a farm near Wanamingo, Minnesota. In 1967 they moved to Lake City, Minnesota and farmed there until 1973 when they moved to Oak Center, Minnesota. In 1979 they moved to St. Peter, Minnesota. During his farming years Morley also worked at creameries. In 1983 they moved to Lake Norden where he managed the creamery until his retirement in the early 1990s. Morley died on Thursday, December 21, 2006 at his home at the age of 78 years, 5 months and 26 days. He was a life member of the American Legion and the V.F.W. Morley was always active in churches and taught confirmation in the various communities where they lived. Throughout the years he enjoyed hunting and fishing and more recently fishing with his grandchildren. Grateful for having shared his life are four sons, Steven and his wife Rose of Milleville, MN, Loren and his wife Gayle of Plainview, MN, Roger and his wife Lora of Coon Rapids, MN, Robert and his wife Theresa of Lake Norden, SD; one daughter Joyce Anderson of Arizona; 15 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Morley was preceded in death by his wife Inez on December 15, 2003; one daughter Wendy; his parents; five brothers; and one sister.
