Obituary
Patricia Walker, 53, passed away Monday, December 5, 2022, at the USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls. SD, surrounded by her loving family. A Celebration of Life will be held from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Saturday, December 10th, 2022 at Geise Funeral Home in Estelline, SD.
Patricia Walker was born on October 16th, 1969, in Hamburg, Germany, the daughter of Gisela Gotfryd and Dr. Janusz Gotfryd.
She grew up around Frankfurt, Germany, and attended and graduated school at Georg-Kerschensteiner-Schule in Obertshausen, Germany.
She achieved a BA degree in Psychology from the University of Phoenix and is a certified EMT.
Patricia was married to Jerry Walker in 1990. They had 4 children together, Brian, Marco, Sascha, and Alysha.
Patricia Walker was an EMT for the Estelline Ambulance. She also was a counselor at Lifescape in Sioux Falls. She was also proud of being a caretaker at the human services agency in Watertown, South Dakota.
She loved to read in her spare time and always had something she was reading on her phone. She also loved to embroider tapestries. She also enjoyed doing puzzles and playing games with her children.
Patricia had one of the biggest hearts and loved her family more than anything. She also loved to take care of her animals and would rescue and care for homeless animals.
She is survived by her parents, Gisela Gotfryd and Janusz Gotfryd. Husband Jerry Walker. Children: Brian & Heather, Marco & Kelsey, Sascha, and Alysha. Grandchildren Acen, Alec & Jordan, Jaelyn & Kiarra, and Heaven and many loved ones that she considered family.
