Randy N. Riter, 65, died on Sunday, July 22, 2018, at Riverview Healthcare Community in Flandreau, SD.  Funeral Services will be  10:00AM, Thursday, July 26, 2018 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lake Norden, SD.   Visitation will be from 5pm until 7pm, Wednesday at the Geise Funeral Home in Lake Norden, SD

Randy was born on July 16, 1953, in Watertown, SD, the son of Lloyd and Margaret (Pearson) Riter.  He was baptized and confirmed in the Trinity Lutheran Church in Lake Norden.  He received his education in Lake Norden and was a graduate of the Lake Norden High School in 1972.  After receiving his education he worked construction for several years before serving in the United States Army from 1974 until 1976.  After his discharge from the Army he lived in Oregon for a short time before moving back to South Dakota.

Randy enjoyed sports in high school and automobiles.

He is survived by his brothers, Eugene Riter of Hayti, SD, Dean (Felicitas) Riter , Michael (Theresa) Riter of Watertown, SD; his father Lloyd Riter of Watertown, SD; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Randy was preceded in death by his mother and one sister-in-law Roxanne.
