Obituary

Sharon Adele Lee Moisher, 65 of Watertown, formerly Lake Norden, passed away Monday November 21, 2016 at Sanford Hospital.  Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, December 3, 2016 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lake Norden. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Friday at the Church. Geise Funeral Chapel is assisting the family with Arrangements.

Sharon Adele Lee was born October 12, 1951 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Howard and Bernice (Vetter) Lee.

She was the first girl, and the middle of five children.  After graduating from Walled Lake Central High School, she went on to become a cosmetologist. She married Andrew Espland in July of 1977, in Lake Norden, South Dakota, where they raised three sons.  A picture in her home correctly states "Heaven holds a special place for a mother of three sons".  You will hear her grandchildren call her "Toot", a childhood nick name lovingly refashioned.

Sharon met Jerome Moshier in Watertown, SD and they married on December 19, 2009.   They lived life to the fullest enjoying family, travel, and growing stronger in God's love.  A special trip to Florida in December 2015 brought together their entire Moshier/Lee/Espland family in a celebration of love and life.

Sharon lived out 1 Peter 4:10 Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms. She not only created beauty, but helped those that sat in her salon chair embrace their God given beauty; from Dixie's, to Kozy Korner, and the Lake Norden and Estelline Care Centers.  Most recently she worked for the Census Bureau where her gift to connect with people flourished.  Sharon was a strong woman physically, in character, and in her faith.  She loved bible study and teaching Sunday school at Trinity Lutheran Church, where the discussions and questions nurtured her child like faith.  She trusted that God would provide, and held onto Proverbs 22:6: Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it. The Lord was her strength and her shield, and she was an inspiration to all that she touched.

Sharon will live on in the fond memories and lives of her husband Jerome Moshier of Watertown, SD; three sons Jeremy Jerome Espland and his wife Fancy of Watertown, SD, Justin Lee Espland and his wife Jessica of Erie, Pennsylvania, and Jarid Andrew Espland and his wife Tara of Canton, SD; two step-daughters Melissa (Moshier) Meidinger and husband Craig of Watertown, SD, and Christine Moshier and husband Travis Keller of Merritt Island, Florida; grandchildren Gavin, Taylor, Jackson, Madeline, Evelyn, Micah, Samantha, Ty, Bo, Jac, Destiny, Jasmine, and Nathaniel; three brothers Steve Lee of Tamarac Florida, Gary Lee of Tonopah, Arizona, and Mark Lee of White Lake, Michigan, and sister Tracy (Lee) Barlow of Charlotte, NC; and many extended family and special friends.

Sharon has joined her parents, three grandchildren, and the angels in heaven.
