Sharon L. Quiram, 79, of Lake Norden, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 27, 2022, at Avantara- Milbank. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, at Geise Funeral Chapel in Lake Norden, with graveside services to follow.

Sharon L. Whites was born on December 21, 1942, in Huron, SD, the daughter of Harold 'Tiny' and Dorothy (Erdmann) Whites. She grew up (not really because She never did grow up lol) in Huron and attended school at Morningside Elementary and Huron Junior High. Sharon married Olen West in 1958 and the couple had five children. Sharon and Wally Quiram were married on July 5, 1968, in Huron and welcome two children. The family moved to Lake Norden in 1973. Sharon had various jobs but a few of her favorites were Pier 81, on Lake Poinsett, where she worked for Don and Linda for 13 years and Empi in Clear Lake. She and Wally owned the Park Drive Inn in Lake Norden for nine years which she also enjoyed.

Her hobbies and pastimes were time on the computer, Bingo, trips to Las Vegas and playing games with her kids and grandkids. She also enjoyed spending time with her friends.

She is survived by her children, Kandy Muilenburg, of Watertown, SD, Ben West, of Watertown, SD, Cindy Tormanen, of Lake Norden, SD, Alan (Peg) West, of Watertown, SD Olen West, Jr, of Watertown, Darrin (Stacey) Quiram, of Hayti, SD, and LeAnne (Tracy) Johnson, of Bruce, SD, 15grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and sister, Kathy (Tony) Wisker of Elkton.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Wally, brother-in-law, Tony and two sons, Ronald West and Brian Quiram.
