Stanley A. Boswell, 62, of Castlewood passed away on Sunday, May 6, 2018, following a short battle with cancer. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, May 11, 2018 at First Presbyterian Church in Castlewood. The family will host a visitation at the church from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Thursday. Geise Funeral Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.

Stanley Arnold Boswell and his twin brother were born October 25, 1955 at Watertown, SD the son of Harry and Dona (Misner) Boswell. He attended school in Castlewood. He was united in marriage to Kim Smunk at First Presbyterian Church at Castlewood, SD. Stan made a living driving truck since he was 16 years old.

Stan was an avid hunter and fisherman. His best memories were his hunting trips to Harding County and Texas. He loved to cook and entertain in his garage.

Grateful for having shared his life are his wife, Kim, of Castlewood, SD; 14 nieces and nephews and one sister, Sandy of Sergeant Bluffs, IA.

He was preceded in death by his parents, twin brother, Joe and sister, Karon.
