Timothy J. Linneman, 60, of Sergeant Bluff, IA, passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at Embassy Rehabilitation and Care Center. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am Monday, September 30, 2019, at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Estelline. Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm Sunday at the church with a Liturgical Wake Service beginning at 5:00 pm. Geise Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Timothy John Linneman was born on April 15, 1959, in Clear Lake, SD, the son of Joseph and Eileen (Kaiser) Linneman. Tim grew up and attended school in Estelline. He worked road construction around the country. He was married to Deb Ward. They had two sons, Kris and Brandon Linneman. Later in life, he was married to Tammy VanDykhorst. In 2004, his health declined and he medically retired from working.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing, was an avid racing fan and enjoyed listening to music. He bred and raised German Shorthair Pointers. He enjoyed spending time with his family and seeing his grandchildren.

Tim is survived by his two sons, Kris (Christina Evans) Linneman, of Yankton, SD, and Brandon Linneman, of Brookings, SD; brother, Dale Linneman, of Estelline, SD; two sisters, Deborah (Roger) Cramer, of Sergeant Bluff, IA and Lisa (Loni) Moen, of Watertown; three grandchildren, Caitlen Evans, Karissa and Kaden Linneman, all of Yankton, SD and his nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Margaret, in infancy.
