Dr. Ty Hedblad Las Vegas, Nevada Dr. Ty Hedblad was born on December 4, 1950 in Hayti, South Dakota the son of Delbert and Alma Lillian (Sween) Hedblad. He died on Wednesday, January 21, 2004 at his residence in Las Vegas, NV at the age of 53 years. Dr. Hedblad was a practicing psychologist and psychotherapist. He was dedicated to his profession and sought to make life better for all he encountered, both professionally and personally. He was an avid sports fan who loved to play baseball, football, basketball, golf and hockey. He was a fierce competitor who loved to win but was also gracious in defeat. He served as a little league baseball and soccer coach during the years that his children were actively playing. Dr. Hedblad was an avid reader and was always up to date on local, national and world news reports. Dr. Hedblad is survived by his four children, Kristina, Erik, Lance and Taylor; his mother, Lillian, his brothers and sisters Darryl (Diane), Butch (Nancy), Dale (Colleen), Dan (Teresa, Darla, Ted (Shari), Alan (Laura) and Edna; grandchildren Allison, Brandon and Carleen; nieces and nephews, Ryan, Andrea, Andrew, Joey, and Dylan.
