(Klos) Feyerisen, daughter of Frank and Nora (Stutheit) Klos, was born December 26, 1924 in Hamlin County, South Dakota. She received her education in Hamlin #4 rural school. Violet was united in marriage to Edward Feyerisen on August 22, 1942 in Kranzburg, South Dakota. They farmed in Codington County until 1946 when they moved to a farm in Hamlin County. Violet died on Tuesday, March 20, 2007 at Jenkins Living Center in Watertown at the age of 82 years, 2 months and 24 days. She was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Estelline. She enjoyed reading, gardening, crocheting, working on jigsaw puzzles and baking. Violet greatly enjoyed spending time with her family. Grateful for having shared her life are her husband Edward of Castlewood; her children, Betty (Elmer) Walkins of Morrison, CO, Marilyn Trottier of Sharon, VT, Dorothy (Robert) Falk of Castlewood, SD, Nicholas Feyerisen of Sioux Falls, Helen Parker of Brookings, SD, Beverly (Joel) Frohling of Groton, SD, Jeannie (Greg) Morgan of Mellette, SD, Susan (Roger) Lauseng of Watertown, Roy (Sheila) Feyerisen of Castlewood, Patricia (Steve) Rasmussen of Watertown; 25 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; one sister, Beulah Barnes of Stockton, CA; and a host of other relatives and friends. Violet was preceded in death by seven grandchildren, one great grandchild, her parents, two brothers and three sisters.
