Logan Brandriet

Manager/Funeral Director/Employee Owner

Logan Brandriet joined Eidsness Funeral Home on January 1, 2025. A native of Arlington, Logan graduated from Arlington High School in 2017. He continued his education at South Dakota State University before completing the Mortuary Science Program at Des Moines Area Community College, graduating in the spring of 2022. Logan became a Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer in June 2022.

Logan is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys fishing and hunting in his free time. He is engaged to Delanie Tangen of the rural Bruce area, and together they are members of GracePoint Wesleyan Church in Brookings. Logan’s faith is an important part of his life and plays a meaningful role in his work, guiding him to serve families with compassion, dignity, and respect during their time of need.

Emily Johnson

Funeral Arranger / Mortuary Student

Emily is an Estelline, SD Native, where she graduated from high school in 2021. Emily attended Lake Area Technical College and has been accepted into Des Moines Area Community College for their Mortuary Science Program starting in the Fall of 2023. Emily joined the Geise Funeral Home team in February 2025.

Emily enjoys spending time at the lake and helping on the family farm.

John Radtke

Funeral Planning Counselor

John grew up in Sanborn, Minnesota, and received his education in Pipestone, graduating with a degree in Business. He has been in the funeral business since 1984. John serves as the pre-planning manager for Geise Funeral Home.

Orv Gedstad

Part-Time / Shareholder

Orv grew up in the Canton/Harrisburg area and graduated from Canton High School. He attended college and graduated from the Dallas Institute of Mortuary Science in August of 1974. He has been a licensed funeral director since May 1975. He worked in Sioux Falls before moving to the Estelline/Brookings area in 1989.
